If you feel like your surfing should be a series of continuous arcs then this board may be your best friend. The Sensei provides glide while also being responsive when you find a racing section. It's great for a variety of conditions and can always put a smile on your face.

The Sensei is offered from 5'10″ to 7'6″.

Let's Build it!

More about this board: We call this one Sensei because it continues to teach us lessons about our surfing with every wave we ride. Preferring smooth interconnected series of bottom turns and top turns, the Sensei helps smooth out style while providing you with clean lines and happy times.

The pulled-in toe and heel tail outline allow you to arc turns with fluid powerful style, and can help you elegantly climb the foam to pass a section. It's great for larger conditions too, allowing you to get into overhead waves a bit earlier and glide through those grinding sections unscathed.

Size Recommendation: Depending on your build, this board should generally be ordered about 4 - 10 inches greater than your height, and can be a great mid-length option when ordering over 10 inches your height.

New to Asymmetrical design? Check out this conversation about our designs.

A common misconception is that asymmetrical boards are designed for the wave direction (lefts or rights), but they are actually built for your stance. Asymmetrical designs provide a board that considers your heel and toe surfing characteristics... think about it, we don’t surf symmetrically, so why should our boards be built symmetrically?

Fin configuration: The Sensei comes standard with three fin boxes, positioned for riding as a twin or a staggered tri (one fin on toe, two fins on heel).  Try switching up fin templates as the wave conditions change to experience multiple sources of power and control.
