The Haze Mission:
Haze positions itself away from the typical competition between larger board companies with largely similar shapes and designs. Instead, we look to grow and build upon the great achievements of surfing and shaping pioneers, delivering stoke to new surfers and looking for new ways to rekindle interest in each experienced surfer. Our interest is to remain enthusiastic about surfing and the community created by it, suggested largely by origination in Long Island, New York. Haze demonstrates this excitement repeatedly each winter while team riders and ambassadors pull into blizzard barrels wearing 6 millimeters of neoprene, pushing through walls of ice cold water. Through travel Haze has been able to develop its lineup and understanding of both the ocean and culture, both important in understanding what board to ride and when to ride it. From football field points in New Zealand to grinding reef breaks in the Caribbean, our designs excel in all conditions.
